Identity Theft Prevention Act
The New Jersey Identity Theft Prevention Act imposes strict requirements regarding the use and display of Social Security numbers; the destruction of documents containing "personal information"; and, notification of persons affected by any unauthorized access to "personal information."

NJBIA's Legal Affairs Committee
The Legal Affairs Committee assists the Association in reviewing and making recommendations on legislation and regulations that have an impact on the legal obligations of its members, such as corporate governance, the tort system and environmental and labor law.
