In fact, the campus is now home to Altana Pharma’s U.S. headquarters, Lehman Brothers, Global Crossing and other prestigious companies. It is also an economic boon to the local community, creating 693 full-time jobs.
According to its nominator, Florham Park Mayor Frank Tinari, the redevelopment has enriched the tax base of the community by producing a significant new ratable as well as eliminating a potential eyesore. “The redevelopment is also in keeping with New Jersey’s philosophy of concentrating development in areas with existing infrastructure, thereby avoiding the pitfalls of suburban sprawl,” he said.
Rotwein & Blake Associated Architects P.A. of Livingston designed the buildings and Bovis Lend Lease Inc. handled the renovations.
