New Jersey Business & Industry Association President Philip Kirschner will present the findings of the Association’s 2009 Business Outlook Survey in a 10:30 a.m. news conference on Tuesday, November 25, at NJBIA headquarters, 102 West State Street, Trenton.
The survey, now in its 50th consecutive year, is the largest and oldest statewide business survey. It has proven to be a reliable barometer of business opinion about current and future business conditions.
More than 1,400 employers responded to this year’s survey, representing companies of every size and industry across the state. The survey presents companies' outlook for the state and national economies, as well as their expectations for sales, profits and hiring in the year ahead. Survey participants also rate New Jersey’s business climate.
NJBIA is the nation's largest state-level business association, with nearly 23,000 member companies employing approximately 1.2 million people.
