In their first appearance after winning their respective party’s nomination, Governor Jon Corzine and Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie will talk about their candidacies before the approximately 400 business leaders expected to attend the upcoming NJBIA Employer Legislative Committees (ELC) State Dinner.
The event will take place at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, at the Hyatt Regency, Route 1, Princeton. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Members of the news media are invited. Reporters planning to attend should contact Steve Wilson at 609-393-7707, ext. 245.
The State Dinner is hosted by the county Employer Legislative Committees, which will be celebrating their 50th anniversary. The ELCs were established in 1959 as an affiliate of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) to bring together business people, legislators and other government leaders to share ideas on the top issues affecting New Jersey’s economy.
The 2009 ELC Dinner is sponsored by the NJ Credit Union League. Paul Gentile, president and CEO of the NJ Credit Union League, is the dinner chair. |
