WHO: The New Jersey Chapter of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease

WHAT: Partnership Chairs and business leaders will discuss ways to fund the national health care reform effort.

WHY: The PFCD is committed to raising awareness, particularly among elected officials and opinion leaders, of policies and practices that save lives and reduce health costs through more effective prevention and management of chronic disease.  The New Jersey PFCD chapter includes more than 130 of the state’s most influential labor, community, faith, business, and health and patient advocacy organizations.

NOTE: Reporters are also invited to attend a PFCD “Promising Practices” conference from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Trenton Marriott.
