Message for NJBIA Members Who Have Expressed
An Interest in Joining the April 25 Aggregation Pool
Constellation NewEnergy, NJBIA’s endorsed electricity supplier, has received more than 500 inquiries from NJBIA members who would like to join Power New Jersey’s first electricity purchasing pool.* The deadline for inquiries was April 25. Due to the strong response, there have been delays in follow-up communications with some members.
If your company has submitted a letter of authorization (LOA), an electricity price risk manager with Constellation NewEnergy will contact you regarding pricing for the week of May 12, 2008. In addition, a detailed e-mail communication outlining the next steps will be sent to all interested members by Monday, May 5.

About the Power New Jersey Aggregation Program
 The aggregation program, managed by NJBIA's preferred supplier, Constellation NewEnergy, is designed for companies that have monthly electricity-supply bills of at least $3,000 per month. Participating companies will be able to protect themselves against volatile energy prices by obtaining a fixed price for their electricity supply over a period of three years. However, electricity will continue to be distributed by the regional utilities serving participating companies. NJBIA members must be in PSEG, JCP&L, or ACE utility service territories in order to participate.
Customized Program for Large Energy Users
Although Power New Jersey is no longer accepting applications for its first aggregation pool, NJBIA member companies with electricity bills of $5,000 per month or more can work with Constellation NewEnergy on a customized electricity-supply program*. These companies will enjoy the same benefits as companies in the aggregation program. They will be able to:
- Obtain long term electricity budget certainty and price stability
- Access an account manager to support their needs
- Retain regulated distribution service from their local utility
