Employee Training for NJ Companies
NJ companies that are members of NJBIA can easily access training for their employees through two training programs organized by NJBIA with the NJ community colleges and the NJ Department of Labor & Workforce Development.
Basic Skills Training for Your NJ Employees: You can have your NJ employees trained, at no charge to your company, in computers, mathematics, verbal and written communications and English as a second language.

Customized Training for Your NJ Employees: Meet the customized training needs of your NJ employees through NJBIA’s partnership with the NJ community colleges. NJ Department of Labor training grants are available to help defray the cost.
The NJ Community College Consortium will develop a workforce training program customized to meet your company’s needs. It will even write your grant application to the NJ Department of Labor at no cost to you as an NJBIA member.

Free Lean Manufacturing Workshops:
Learn how to make your manufacturing and office operations more lean, efficient and profitable. The NJ Manufacturing Extension Program is making three workshops available at no charge to NJBIA members (workshops normally cost $250-$325).

The Continuing Professional Education CPE) Division at NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology) is the training arm of the university dedicated to professional workforce talent development through offering non-credit and credit programs at companies’ sites, online or through any combination of the two methods which works best for employers and their workforces. Since 1990, CPE has trained over 71,000 employed people at more than 600 NJ companies.
