Media, based in Union, was one of only two companies to receive a 2006 Enterprise Award from NJBIA. It was one of only nine companies overall receiving the Association’s Award for Excellence in four categories.
“Our Awards for Excellence winners have had a notably positive impact on the lives of their employees, their communities, the environment, and New Jersey,” said NJBIA President Philip Kirschner, who presented the awards October 17 at a dinner at the Hilton East Brunswick.
“Advanced Health Media’s rapid employment growth can be attributed to a winning combination of state-of-the-art technology, great customer service, and a strong partnership with its employees.”
Advanced Health Media manages speaker-led program logistics and compliance administration for pharmaceutical companies. In the past year, AHM has coordinated more than 150,000 promotional programs, supporting 40,000 pharmaceutical sales representatives. AHM’s systems and services provide sales representatives with support to efficiently deliver marketing programs to health care professionals. At the enterprise level, AHM’s customized systems utilize clients’ business rules to provide compliance management and reporting to meet government regulations.
As the leading supplier of speaker program and commercial compliance management solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, Advanced Health Media has seen explosive employment growth. The company’s head count rose to 238 employees in April 2006 from 134 employees in January 2005, a 78 percent increase.
The addition of fourteen new clients confirmed the company’s significant success over the past year. Advanced Health Media now represents ten of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. This rapid growth can be linked to its unique combination of state-of-the-art technology and world-class customer service, which results in outstanding support for their clients’ needs. AHM’s technology platform ensures strict compliance with state and federal regulations and the flawless execution of pharmaceutical meetings.
Since 1984, NJBIA annually has honored a select group of its members with an Award for Excellence. The winners demonstrate outstanding achievements in one of four award categories: Environmental Quality, Outstanding Employer, Enterprise and Public Service. All 23,000 NJBIA member companies in good standing are eligible to be nominated.
An independent panel of judges volunteered their time to conduct the judging and select the winners. Mercadien P.C. Certified Public Accountants of Princeton verified the information supplied by the winning applicants.
With more than 23,000 members, NJBIA is the nation’s largest state-level employer association.
