NJBIA’s Women Business Leaders Network was at Berkeley College earlier this week to help women develop new skills and increase their visibility. The program featured Jodi Grinwald, CEO & founder of the consulting and leadership development company Today Is The Day, who shared ways to develop a personally effective leadership style.
“Your energy level and philosophy on life determines your leadership style,” Ms. Grinwald said. “Effective leaders are those who lead by example. They follow up and follow through, but more importantly they use the art of active listening and have a ‘we’ mentality instead of a ‘me’ mentality.”
