Speaking with host Jeanne Murphy, Siekerka covers the tax increases enacted this spring and the paid sick leave mandate, as well as the state’s new toughest-in-the-nation equal pay law.
NJBIA was able to negotiate amendments that mitigated the impact of some of these proposals on businesses, but these laws have her concerned about outmigration, particularly from people who are getting hit the hardest from the new taxes.
