The U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of class action waivers in arbitration agreements highlights the May Labor Law Developments provided by the law firm Jackson Lewis.

“Supreme Court’s decision resolves the circuit split on whether class or collective action waivers contained in employment arbitration agreements violate the National Labor Relations Act,” the update states. “They do not, the court ruled in a 5-4 decision.”
