NJBIA has always been proud of the quality of the events it offers to its members and the public. One of the reasons they are so good is the fantastic staff of our events team. Now one of them is getting national recognition.
NJBIA Programs and Events Manager Kim Cowperthwait was highlighted as one of 15 Rising Stars 2019 by NorthstarMeetingsGroup.com, a national online platform for meeting-planning professionals.
“These 15 women and men put their keen intelligence, boundless passion and hopeful vision for the future to work for our industry,” the article states.
NJBIA’s events team puts on numerous educational seminars, awards programs, policy events with legislators, and signature events like its annual golf outing, as well as the Women Business Leaders Forum, which attracted over 500 people last year.
“We cannot say enough good things about the work Kim does and the whole events team,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka. “Our events stand out, and it’s people like Kim who are responsible for that. We are excited that she is getting the recognition she deserves.”
