Even as awareness of cybersecurity grows, hacking is getting increasingly easy, according to this article by The Economist.

Hackers can make money selling stolen credit-card details and computer “exploits” (flaws in code that allow malicious attackers to subvert systems), or they can use “ransomware” to encrypt computers and charge victims for the key that will unscramble the data.

“The default assumption is that everything is vulnerable,” says Robert Watson, a computer scientist at the University of Cambridge.
