Governor Murphy and a Special Senate Committee disagree over whether there should be a hard cap on the maximum that can be allocated to a corporate tax break for a new tax incentive program.

As discussions continue, NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Chris Emigholz told NJ Spotlight that the association supports no annual overall cap in a new program, but also encourages the use of an enhanced net benefit test to make sure the program does not over-commit resources.
