Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

The New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) and the New Jersey Council for the Humanities (NJCH) are partnering to host an Essential Skills Summit on January 31, 2020 from 9 am to 2:30 pm at Middlesex County College in Edison to begin a statewide discussion of the skills that will be essential for the future and how these skills can be delivered both in and out of the classroom.

“The world is changing at a rapid pace technologically, economically, and socially,” according to the event page. “Colleges, high schools, community-based organizations, government, non-profit organizations and employers all have a key role in helping New Jerseyans to develop the essential skills to adapt and thrive in the economy, in our society, and in our democracy.”

Nicole Sandelier, NJBIA’s Director of Economic Policy Research, will present preliminary findings from an upcoming workforce needs study as part of the program.
