With manufacturing job openings going unfilled across the country, workforce development and training is critical if New Jersey is going to be competitive in the future. So the Manufacture NJ Talent Network is hosting a summit called, Apprenticeships – Meeting the Workforce Challenge.
The Aug. 23 event at the NJIT campus in Newark, “M-NJ Industry Summit Apprenticeships – Meeting the Workforce Challenge” will feature keynote speaker Al Stimac of the Manufacturers Association of Florida and Machining Solutions LLC. Stimac is a longtime leader in training and legislative opportunities.
The event will include education breakout sessions with leaders from community colleges and vocational schools and a town-hall style Q and A session.
