The Office of Senator Booker is hosting a Women Small Business Forum. This event will focus on Women-owned small businesses and Women that are looking to start their own business, and will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Campus Center Atrium, 150 Bleeker St. Newark, NJ 07102.

 

The event will include a panel discussion as well as breakout sessions. Owners of businesses at every point of development – from the newly created to established companies – are encouraged to attend.  State representatives, officials from the Small Business Administration and its resource partners, as well as lenders of varying sizes, will be in attendance to guide meaningful discussion and answer questions during the panel and the breakout sessions. Speakers will address access to capital, digital marketing strategies, scaling your business,  and supplier diversity programs. There is also a one-hour networking session.

 

The Office of Senator Booker is excited to host this small business forum that will marshal federal government and private resources to help New Jersey business owners do what they do best.
