Yesterday, Elizabeth Maher Muoio was interviewed and approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee to be the next State Treasurer of New Jersey. She now awaits approval before the full Senate, which is likely to take place in early April.
During the hearing, the discussion was concentrated on tax policy, spending, and the state’s pension and health benefits systems. Additionally, Muoio is also scheduled to present on the FY 2019 State Budget before both the Senate and Assembly budget committees on April 10 and 11, respectively.
