NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka has been named one of the Top 50 most influential people in South Jersey, according to South Jersey Biz magazine.
The annual “Power 50” list, the magazine’s alphabetical ranking of the most influential professionals, noted Siekerka’s leadership of the largest most influential employers’ organization in the nation and cited her strong advocacy on behalf of small and large businesses for policies that will make New Jersey more affordable and competitive.
“Under Siekerka’s leadership, the association’s award-winning research on outmigration documented the loss of $20.7 billion in wealth from New Jersey over 11 years and set the agenda in Trenton for the enactment of a series of important pro-business reforms, including the recent repeal of the estate tax…” the magazine wrote.
